Steel and Plastic Pipeline Installation & Repair
We can install or repair steel mains and plastic distribution lines to meet your project needs. Our crews have expertise with both traditional steel pipelines and modern polyethylene (PE) plastic pipes:
- Steel Mains: We install and repair steel natural gas mains, which remain critical for certain high-pressure or structural applications. - Plastic Distribution Lines (PE & HDPE): We install and repair plastic gas piping using polyethylene (PE) pipe, including High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) lines. Since the 1960s, plastic pipe has become prevalent in natural gas distribution systems, and today it accounts for the majority of distribution mains in service. HDPE in particular is known for its high strength and flexibility, and is widely used for safe, leak-resistant gas distribution piping. Our technicians are qualified in heat fusion and electrofusion techniques to join PE pipes, ensuring robust, leak-free joints in all plastic pipeline installations.
